Your Imagination is the Key.

Let’s face one simple fact — the external world we live in will never encourage us to become the full measure of who we are capable of becoming.

In fact, the external world will actively discourage us, telling us that we are “too much” or “not enough” simultaneously. We are taught not to dare because daring gets us into trouble. We are taught to blend in because blending in is supposed to keep us safe.

I don’t know about your discoveries, but I have come to discover that the opposite is true.

The universe (and your mind) is holographic.

There are fundamental laws to how the universe functions. It is neither random or chaotic. In fact, it is so precise and orderly it blows our mind.

But when you don’t understand it, you call it what the voice of authority says to call it in your era (could be god and everything is created according to His whim — as per in alignment with the evolution of mythology, or could be science and it’s all random — despite science’s own statistical improbability).

When you do understand it, you come to realize how deep and profound your perception of yourself is. For example, if you do not have a vision of a different and aligned version of you, all you will do is go back to the version of you that’s familiar and keep creating same-but-different experiences familiar from the past, hoping for a different result in the future.

Despite what you choose to believe, the fact is this: your mind is holographic. Meaning, your perceptions shape your reality. What you hold as possible for yourself is what you manifest. If, for example, you believe yourself to be broken and deficient, you will manifest broken and deficient (plus a little more, for the excitement of drama & trauma).

Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s not that people don’t suffer, I know I sure did! But I also know what it takes to go from suffering as a victim to reclamation of Self as a godForce.

Before I can become the person I know I am here to become, I have to be able to imagine it.

The key here? To do so congruently. A lot of people imagine in day-dream mode, but that is wishful thinking. It is not a congruent inner knowing.

If you sense yourself as the full measure of your potential, unfurling, the steps to get there will reveal themselves. But if you’re looking for the steps to manifest the desire — it doesn’t work.

Why doesn’t it work? Because of that’s how the formula works. The manifestation must happen top - down (from vision to how to), not from the bottom - up (from strategies to vision). Curious about that?

👉 Check out this workshop I recently facilitated where you will learn about how your mind works, and why expanding your context expands your capacity.

So in a world that demands we be productive, strategic, and logical, your imagination is the key to creation of your meaningful life!

But your imagination will never shout or hustle. It is simply waiting for the signal to activate! Your original ideas are awaiting …

If you want to grow your imagination, here’s the simplest truth I know: Read more. And write more.

Read stories that expand your sense of what’s possible. Read thinkers who challenge the edges of your certainty. Read slowly, with curiosity, letting words rearrange your perceptions of yourself and the world.

And then write!
Not to be clever.
Not to be right.
But to reveal what you didn’t know you knew until the words arrived.

You see, your imagination is like a muscle — it is not a mysterious gift, and it is certainly not a stroke of luck. It’s something you feed and stretch and challenge every time you engage with language on purpose.

This week, open a book you’ve never read before. And then write something—anything! It doesn’t have to be good (by your so-called perfectionist aka avoidance strategy belief systems). It just has to be true.

Reading has become my way of expanding my mindset.

Writing has become my way of processing the information moving through me as I reveal the truth of my experience.

It’s a very simple process, really. But like anything worth a damn, it takes mindfulness and intentionality. It isn’t about taking on more — it’s about taking on what enlivens you.
